Inclusion Seekers Summit 2025: Strong and Connected Communities

Starfire is excited to host its inaugural Inclusion Seekers Summit on Thursday, October 9th at the Cincinnati Art Museum.

This one day summit will feature a powerful convening of thought leaders dedicated to strengthening social connections and offering best practices on how to build stronger more connected communities.  

We are honored to welcome Dr. Vivek Murthy, the 19th and 21st U.S. Surgeon General, as our keynote speaker, a leading voice on the power of human connection.

Dr. Murthy’s focus on addressing social isolation through strong community ties aligns perfectly with Starfire’s mission of eliminating isolation for people with disabilities everywhere. His list of publications includes:

• A 2023 advisory on “Our Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation”
• A 2024 compilation of “Recipes for Connection”
• A 2025 recommendation that Americans invest in their community: “My Parting Prescription for America”
