Starfire’s Annual Celebration

Please join us for Starfire’s 2019 Annual Celebration, The Center of a Connected Community!

Starfire’s Annual Celebration event brings together all those dedicated to the vision of disability inclusion in Cincinnati and is a celebration of creativity and connectedness. Real life docustories of people with disabilities will help us celebrate the year’s successes of finding authentic relationships, valued roles, and meaningful opportunities in our city.  Enjoy dinner by the bite along with craft brew at this family-friendly event. See below for details and to buy tickets for the event.

Starfire's work directly supports people with disabilities to participate in the community, build authentic relationships, and activate neighborhoods to be more socially connected. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Starfire is a groundbreaking organization working to build better lives for people with developmental disabilities, by increasing social connectivity through meaningful relationships in the community where people can be known for their gifts, not their disability.

The years immediately following my son’s diagnosis were dark, my family and I struggled to find our footing in a world that suddenly included 10 different specialists. When my family became part of Starfire, I did not realize how much we would change over the year. Starfire was about to take me and my family on a path that would guide us to a whole new way of thinking and open doors to a life where for the first time, disability was not the focus of our entire world.
